AKASHA has an exciting new tender, M/V AJIRA, a 36 foot high-performance speed boat docked at Village Cay Marina.
She is rumored to do 0-60 in 5 secs!
We personally know she can get from Road Town to West End in under 7 minutes!
Quite an exhilarating experience!
Ajira seats up to 4 guests and is available in the BVI only for daytime use (10-4pm), at $2,000/day + fuel. Half days can be arranged.
Guests who choose this option will be invoiced at the end of their charter, payable immediately with traveler's checks or cash. (Credit card payment will be available at a later date.)
WATERSPORTS
With a large variety of water sports to be enjoyed including water skiing, knee-boarding, tubing, wake boarding, kayaking, snorkelling and sailing the Hobiecat as well as kite boarding and SCUBA diving for those qualified, you may
find that there are not enough hours in the day. A full range of snorkelling
equipment is available on board and for those wishing to enjoy a quiet drink at a beach bar, the captain will always be happy to transport you ashore in the
tender which is quick, comfortable and dry.
Akasha is also fully equipped for SCUBA diving and dive instruction. She carries not only a full
range of masks, snorkels, fins, regulators, BCDs, and dive tanks, but also her own compressor. There are currently two qualified NAUI dive instructors and one dive master amongst the crew who are more than happy to arrange diving for both
the experienced and novice diver.
Equipment carried includes: 2 double kayaks; water skis; slalom ski; wakeboard; kneeboard; Hobie cat; double tube/donut; floating mats; fishing rods, reels and tackle; kite
boards; SCUBA gear; noodles; snorkelling equipment and a variety of beach toys.
Watersports equipment and toys:
The 17 foot tender has a 90 horse power Yamaha engine and is equipped with a VHF radio, fish finder and a stereo CD/radio and is ideal for all kinds of watersports including water skiing, wake boarding, knee boarding and tubing.
