CAPTAIN JACK
BOYEJack has
owned, chartered, raced and cruised on yachts for over thirty years. His
racing CV is extensive. He is the only American to have completed the BOC
Single Handed Around the World Race, The OSTAR Trans Atlantic Race and the
French Route du Rhum Race. Add five Bermuda One/Two Races, racing from Cape
Town to Brazil, cruising from Newport to Norway, and Jack has 60,000
nautical miles under his keel.
Jack attended Penn State
University on a football scholarship, graduated with a BA in American
History and went to work on Wall Street for the next twenty years. An
entrepreneur, Jack started one of the first discount brokerage firms and one
of the largest wholesale execution firms. He left Wall street to start
a technology company that used the internet to do real time portfolio
analysis.
Jack enjoys travel,
adventure, hiking and the excitement of exploring new places. He has
traveled in Europe, Norway, the British Isles, Mexico, South America, Asia,
New Caledonia and Australia. He loves photography, music of all types,
theater and cooking.
Jack enjoys sailing with his
own family and welcomes children over eight years old who have water skills.
There is lots of entertainment for kids. Experiencing the yacht is foremost
and there are games, books, children’s DVD’s, radio and CD’s, fishing,
swimming and exploring island beaches and hillside paths. Safety is always
first.
