Sailing Take to the helm and try your hand at sailing.  Participate as little or as much as you like.  Our experienced captain will be happy to show you the pleasures of sailing  the best cruising grounds in the Caribbean.

Scuba Diving With crystal clear waters and virtually untouched reefs, the diving is some of the best in the world. Whether you are an experienced scuba diver, or would like to learn how to  dive or snorkel, let our certified instructors serve as your guides to the best dive sites throughout the islands. 

Snorkeling   For non-scuba divers, there's no better way to enjoy the beauty of the deep than snorkeling. The islands are renowned for their beautiful reefs filled with colorful corals and exotic tropical fish.  Ad Astra hosts a full set of snorkel equipment for each guest including high quality mask, fins and snorkels - we even have kids sizes. 

Kayaking   Ocean kayaking is a sport that's easy to learn and  everyone can enjoy.  Kayak to the beach or paddle around the island for a more strenuous workout.  Pack up a cooler and go on a flotilla with your friends or family.  Kids love it because it gives them the independence to go and explore on their own.  Ad Astra has a 3-person kayak on board for your enjoyment.

Windsurfing   The sheltered waters and steady tradewinds of the Caribbean provide exceptional conditions for windsurfing, which is fast becoming one of the islands' most popular recreational activities.  We carry a beginner Windglider onboard for your use. If you are an accomplished windsurfer and desire a high performance windsurfer or for those who have never windsurfed before and would like to try, we can arrange for equipment or lessons with one of our local operators.

Waterskiing, Kneeboarding, & Skurfing   Ad Astra's tender is equipped with a 50 hp outboard engine, capable of handling virtually any kind of watersport activity.  Kids of all ages will enjoy our slalom and combo waterskis, kneeboard, skurfer and fun tube.

Fishing   Catch a fresh tuna or mahi-mahi for dinner.  There are two deep sea fishing poles and tackle on board for your use.   Fishing is permitted in open ocean outside the national marine park areas.

Hiking, Biking & Horseback Riding   Take a path up through the rainforest for spectacular views or trot along the beach with the wind blowing through your hair. Tour the islands with local guides.  Take a picnic lunch to a secluded cove.  What a great way to spend the afternoon.  Our crew will be delighted to arrange these activities for you with local operators.
